A leading telecommunication company in Africa is in the process of collecting details of all their customers.

This is the first ever exercise in the telecommunication industry in Kenya, which is looking to capture all subscribers customers' identification details and photo's,The details will be keyed into the Verve K.O system for the client.

This has resulted in a presidential directive and consequently by Communication Commission for all mobile operators to capture subscribers details. It is meant to curb fraud, threats of terrorism, money laundering, incitement e.t.c.
