Software Development For Pride Africa.
Verve has been selected by Pride Africa to be the technology partner in the DrumNet Project. DrumNet is conceived as a platform for the transfer of information and value between different parties in a coherent and seamless fashion. Verve will be involved in the entire software development cycle to build a GSM-enabled information, communication and transaction system for smallholder farmers in Kenya. This platform is expected to bridge the fundamental disconnect between the three functions of marketing (market access), finance (credit) and information (pricing, recommended agronomic practices) among rural smallholder farmers in Kenya.
