We passionately believe that the growth and profitability of our business is tied to the growth and development of all spheres of the African continent. Verve has chosen to be deeply in the development of the information and education sphere in Africa. At the African Resource Service, we have created the world’s first and most comprehensive full text online library of African development material. The complete database of documents, videos, audio clips and photographs is accessible online at www.kwetu.net
The greatest attraction that our information offers is that while it comes from very credible sources it is virtually unavailable anywhere else. This is because it mainly comprises of materials that have remained unpublished due to funding constraints facing the producers

VERVE K.O WORK ENVIRONMENT and CULTURE
Our work environment is best described as casual, one that encourages staff to innovate, to excel and to get involved in all aspects of company operations. However we have a very strong work ethic, recognizing the long term benefits of honest hard work.
THE VERVE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM time frame depends on the type of project being under, it mostly covers the following areas among others:\r\n
- Content Acquisition.
- ScanningContent conversion – This involve:
- Content Uploading and site management
VERVE is an equal opportunity environment, we thus provide successful interns with a small stipend to cater for the most basic requirements. Look at the career with us page, on the available Job Opportunities.
At Verve, we believe that every organization has a responsibility to preserve precious natural resources by complying with environmental regulations in the countries where it does business. But we’ve taken further steps to ensure that we are doing all we can to sustain — and improve — the environment.
To spearhead this initiative we have:
- Installed energy saving bulbs the offices.
- Implemented the use of eco-friendly computer hardware, motion sensor lighting, and a heat recovery system
- Put up large windows to supply adequate lighting, thus reducing the need to use artificial lighting during the day.
Paper use reduction.
In an effort to reduce the amount of paper waste, we communicate with customers and employees online as much as possible. We provide customers with online documentation and support, and provide employees with news and information through a company intranet. When we have to use paper in the office we recycle, our paper for internal communication. We also print only on econo-mode for internal use.
